This is another way to fix the ''GRUB Error Rescue'' problem. A very easy way, that I highly recommend! that this method only works for GRUB 2 All you need is an Ubuntu Live-CD and you're good to go! sudo add-apt-repository ppa:yannubuntu/boot-repair sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install boot-repair-ubuntu
